2020-2021 School Year
Innovative Learning Online Platform
All PGA students will return to learning - Monday, August 31, 2020
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Thanks for joining us. New this year, students now have their own charterk12.net student account. This account provides students with streamlined access to the student’s Teams page(s), frequently used curriculum-based programs, and access to the online classroom(s) from anywhere that the internet can be accessed.
Getting Started: You will receive an email from PGA with a username and password unique to you. Although the username will remain the same, you will be asked to create a new password. Please make sure that both parent and student have a record of Username and the new Password you create.
If you have questions or difficulty with your login, please contact the schools front office or your Homeroom Teacher.
3 Easy Steps to Using Your New Account:
Step 1: From your web browser go to my.charterk12.net to login using your username and password. After clicking the Sign-In button for the first time, you will be asked to re-enter the provided password and then create a new password.
Step 2: Enter all required information and click Finish to be connected to the next page.
Step 3: That’s all it takes! Take a look around your new account. Microsoft Teams will serve as the hub for students learning both in the classroom and at home.
Working with Your New Account:
The icon for Microsoft Teams looks like this:
When students click on Microsoft Teams they will be connected to their personal Teams dashboard. On the left- hand side of the screen, students will see what is called the “Navigation Bar”. Once they select “Teams” from the navigation bar, they will find a list of all their classes.
Once school begins, students will go to this site to attend their live-stream sessions, participate in class discussions, and access class materials and resources. To attend a live-stream session, students will simply click the class they are wishing to attend, then click the "Join" button to get in on the action!
The links below will provide you with more information to help you with navigating this new environment. Please take a moment to explore some of the videos and articles available to help you to better understand all that we will be using this year as we work to provide our students with the highest quality education possible.
If you have any technical questions regarding the use of Teams, visit the Microsoft Teams Student Help Center.
If you have any difficulty or a question about your login, please In contact the school’s registrar or your homeroom teacher.
